The Game Story and Characters
The storyline is based on Marvel’s Comic Superhero, MILES MORALES, as he explores his newfound powers to become his own Spider-Man with the help of his predecessor and mentor, Peter Parker.
The game narrative continues from where Marvel’s Spider-Man (The city that never sleeps) left off, during which Miles was bitten by a genetically enhanced spider to gain powers similar to that of Peter Parker.
The core gameplay of Spider-Man, Miles Morales, is the same as its predecessor. It features the same open world, a fictionalized version of modern-day Manhattan, which is covered in snow because the game is set during the holidays.
In Spider-Man Miles Morales Game, Miles discovers unique and explosive superhero powers like covert camouflage power, bioelectric venom blast attacks and spectacular web-slinging acrobatics that set him apart from his mentor and predecessor, Peter Parker.
The Spider-Man Miles Morales game displays Miles’ struggle to keep a balance between his normal human life and his duties as Spider-Man when his new home Harlem is threatened by a raging war between Roxxen Energy Corporation and the Tinkerer’s high-tech criminal army called the underground.
Although Miles is still gaining experience in his new responsibility as a Spider-Man and having doubts if he could live up to Peter Parker’s legacy, he’ll need to take up the mantle of the Superhero and make it his own or risk losing everything precious to him.

Playability
Spider-Man Miles Morales Game is one of the launched games for PS5, and it is also available on PS4. Both the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 versions of the game share the same storyline and gameplay; however, there are slight differences that set the two versions apart.
For the PS5 version of the Spider-Man Miles Morales Game, when you start up the game, you are asked if you will prioritize performance or visuals. I believe the game would still have been great on either of the two settings, but I prefered performance, which aims at a frame rate of 60 frames per second. And in all my time on the PS5, I don’t remember ever noticing a dip in the frame rate or any major slowdown in the game.
However, for the Spider-Man Miles Morales Game on PS4, the loading is remarkably slow, with a running frame rate of about 30 frames per second. But then the game runs quite alright at that lower frame rate, and surprisingly all through the few hours I spent on the game, I didn’t run into any frame rate dips. Though keep in mind that the game I played was on a PS4 Pro and not the standard PS4, as I might have run into significant issues if it were a standard PS4.

The Spider-Man Miles Morales Game is a spin-off of the Spider-Man series but it does share the same gameplay as its predecessor in the 2018 Marvel’s Spider-Man.
Is The Spider-Man Miles Morales Game Worth Buying?
Yes, the Spider-Man Miles Morales game is worth the purchase regardless of the PlayStation version you play on. I recommend you grab a copy of the Spider-Man Miles Morales game, especially if you have played and enjoyed the earlier 2018 Marvel’s Spider-Man.
Conclusion
The best thing to do if you’ve already gotten or planning to purchase the Spider-Man Miles Morales game is to try them out for yourself.
I have watched Miles come into his own as a Superhero who thrives on empathy, he lives to help the people in his community, and most of the game operates on this very human level, where you get to see the change that a truly friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man can bring to his community.
