Game Story And Characters
The game story follows the same gaming experience as the previous games in the Ghost Warrior series. The player takes up the role of the main character in the game, Raven, a Sniper assassin contracted to the Middle East region of Kuamar to take out the criminal syndicate and avert conflict in the region.
The main target in the game is the de-facto head of state, Bibi Rashida, whose husband the president was killed by a bordering country. Bibi Rashida’s retaliation with military forces stands as a threat to the stability of the region which will, in turn, affect oil prices and harm the western economy.
Raven is tasked with sabotaging Bibi Rashida’s regime by way of bringing down her strong support network of cronies and allies which comprises the discredited SAS fighters, rogue hackers, drug cartels and other bad guys in a typical action game.
The game story follows that basic action-sniper game with the good guys taking out the bad gangs spread across a well-thought-through intro, tutorials, and game missions.
The game missions are categorized based on regions, which are all centred around the main game story. The snipping weaponry, gadgets and mechanics deployed for this video game are all superb and brilliant; either you are using it for up-close combat or for the extreme long-range action, you are in for an amazing experience.
There are a handful of characters in the Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 game, most of which are the criminal syndicate that the protagonist is trying to take out, but the main cast in the game are Raven, the contract assassin sniper and Bibi Rashida, the leader of the territory.
Graphics
The visual of this video game is just gorgeous and exceptional compared to the previous games in the series. The effect is striking with the camera rotation, territory depth and the slow motion of the bullet movement when the long-range rifle was shot. I give it to the game developers for creating such an amazing graphic effect and not missing out on any detail in the environment.
The graphics across all the released platforms are great and players can always tweak their settings to favour either screen resolution or Performance. Like for the PlayStation 5, you can get a resolution of 4k at a 60fps frame rate and for PC gamers, the in-game graphic settings can be modified to get the best performance depending on your graphics cards.
Sound
The soundtrack used for the Sniper Ghost Warrior Contract 2 is just perfect just as you would have expected from the game developers, as they never disappoint. The sound effects are remarkable from the echoes from the sniper shots to assault rifles hitting targets and daggers ripping into body armour.
All through the few hours spent playing this game I didn’t encounter any audio issues. I believe if any gamer is to experience any sound effect disruption, it could be from their audio output hardware which might be faulty, or audio settings have been altered.
Playability
The gameplay for the Sniper Ghost Warrior contracts 2 is quite straightforward after you must have played the trial mission with the basic instructions on sniping. The Sniper Ghost Warrior Contract 2 mission is split into two mission types – Classic and Long Shot. The Classic mission is the common infiltration mode where players eliminate target enemies and damage gadgets by sneaking into their territory using a combination of covert skills and sniping techniques.
Whereas for the newly introduced long shot missions, the player slips pass the patrol guards to get to the selected position over a kilometre away from where targets are sniped down. The long-shot involves using sharpshooting techniques to manipulate both foes and their surroundings to unravel a sophisticated puzzle mission.
The player observes every movement using binoculars, studying movement and guard rotation patterns, and identifying the best position to execute the task.
During missions, bounties pop up at random which gives you a bonus for upgrades, though making a miscalculation on this side mission triggers an alert that makes the target harder when you return to the main mission.
Also, there may be times you will accidentally give out your location and expose yourself to be targeted by the enemies and as punishment, they can drop a smoke grenade or target your location with a mortar barrage.

Conclusion – Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 Game Review
Sniper Ghost Warrior contract is an action-packed and fun game to play with some delightful ribbing. The video game gives a cynical view of contract assassination and military interference in criminal syndicate activities in the Middle East.
The player is assigned with a series of impossible and tough missions of keeping the western economies afloat by ensuring the high price of Oil is stabilized to destroy lawless and criminal groups and bring about justice to the region while bringing down the criminal syndicate in the region.
The idea behind the gameplay was excellently executed with a well-planned level progression. The video game delivers an exciting experience of dynamic and realistic sniping action. Although, at times, it might seem like you are playing two entirely separate games with the classic and long-shot contract.
In the classic contract of the game, you are using a short-range rifle more, and the sniper rifle is just an additional weapon in your armoury, while for the long shot contract player uses the huge sniper rifle and sets the target position at a long distance. But overall, the game is not a bad one and definitely the best Sniper Ghost Warrior game to be developed by CI Games to date.
