The multiplayer mode of the Halo Infinite is going to be free-to-play unlike the other games in the series.
In the Halo Infinite game, we will follow the Master Chief as he returns for the third chapter of the Reclaimer Saga to save humanity in another greater adventure like never and faces the most ruthless of Foes.
Halo Infinite was initially scheduled to be released on the 10th of November 2020 with the Xbox Series X & Series S as a launch title before they decided to shift it to a later date; December 8, 2021.

Cons:

- The game may not offer a completely new experience for Halo series fans.
THE GAME STORY AND CHARACTERS
The Halo Infinite game will share a similar game story with the other Halo game series with the protagonist; Chief, fighting off a vicious adversary and his followers who want to conquer and enslave humanity and the whole universe. In the Halo Infinite, The Banished a brutal and vicious mercenary organisation (seen first in the Halo Wars 2) being cast as the main antagonist character.
In the Story, Escharum, a deadly war chief will lead the Banished to declare their conquest over the UNSC soldiers and lay claim to a Halo ring. The Protagonist: Master Chief come into play to save and reclaim the territory back from the Enemies. This instalment is going to be Master Chief’s first run-in with the Banished. And the presence of the Banished in this Halo Infinite game makes the anticipation for the game release high, even though most of the enemy characters in the game looks like the characters of the other Halo games.
Watching the trailer of the Halo infinite game, we could see that the game is set on a war-damaged Halo ring which was later confirmed by the developer, 343 industries to be the Zeta Halo also known as Installation 07. The trailer also shows the design of the Mjolnir Armor of Master chief which shares similarities to the design used in the Halo 2 and Halo 3 game. Halo Infinite also seems to share familiar Halo equipment items; like the classic weaponry, vehicles like the Warthog and the prolific environ, with Halo: Combat Evolved game.
The game is said to have a Tac-map, an in-game map that shows players how to navigate their way through the different parts of the Halo ring and approach certain missions due to its extra open space. The developer said that the set environ of the Halo infinite is far bigger than that of the last two Halo games if combined.
In the gameplay footage, there is also a Drop Shield feature for players that will offer the Master Chief protection from enemy fire when out in the open. Also appearing is the grappling hook that allows the player to pull the Master Chief towards targets and enemy team as well as assisting him to reach high structures to drop fire on the ground.
It is rumoured that the additional new feature was incorporated into the Halo Infinite game to bring about a new approach to players combat methodology compared to the spartan abilities of the Halo 5 or the battle approach of the other Halo series.
GRAPHICS
The developer of the game has stated that the game is built for PC platforms with advanced graphics settings and ultra-wide support, and with these graphics features, the Halo Infinite game will definitely be the best-looking Halo game ever on PC.
Also, Microsoft stated in their campaign that the players of Xbox series X are going to enjoy an enhanced version of the game with up to 4K resolution at 60fps and a greatly reduced game loading time. Thereby creating a seamless game experience that will usher in the next generation of video games.
Below are the recommended and minimum requirements from the graphics team to play the game on PC;

SOUND
The music used in the Halo Infinite is confirmed on the Halo game site to be a collaboration between Gareth Coker, Curtis Schweitzer, and Joel Corelitz, and overseen by Joel Yarger, the Music supervisor at 343 Industries.
It is stated that Halo Infinite is going to be the first Halo game Series that supports Virtual Surround Sound technologies like Windows Sonic, Dolby Atmos and DTS Headphone: X. Whenever you use the stereo headphone, this audio technology makes the sound feel like it is being played from behind or above you, i.e., the sound and its feeling surrounds you.
PLAYABILITY
Halo Infinite Game is said to be a ground-breaking free to play multiplayer experience compared to its predecessors in the series. The development team presented for the first time the Halo Infinite’s multiplayer mode and we saw the iconic Halo series announcer’s return with Halo Fan’s favourite weapons, like the Energy Sword, and many others. You can also make improvements to the Master Chief through the icon seen on the screen menu called Upgrades, this feature would be a first in the Halo series.
In an Xbox post in 2021, it was confirmed that Halo Infinite will be supporting cross-platform multiplayer mode and cross-progression between the gaming platforms (i.e. Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC). This means that Xbox console players and PC players can play Halo Infinite games together. And just recently it was announced that there will be a multiplayer preview of the Halo infinite later this month, with access to the Big-Team mayhem and weapon drills.
SIMILAR GAMES
There are several classic games that are similar to the Halo Infinite game in action-play, that I would like to recommend while you wait for the Master Chief’s return and the games are – Titanfall 2, Mad Max, Destiny 2, Rage 2, Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus, Doom Eternal and Quake Champions, just to mention a few.
IS HALO INFINITE GAME WORTH BUYING?
Halo Infinite will definitely be a worthy buy when it is finally released later this year. Especially for Fan’s of the previous game and other action-packed games. This new release of the Halo series is going to be a special one with the new features and the free-to-play multiplayer mode. So, if you’re thinking of getting the game when it is finally released, Yes, it’s definitely going to be a great buy. Pre-order of the Halo Infinite Game are now available in gaming stores.
CONCLUSION
Halo Infinite is definitely going to be another action-filled game like the other Halo instalments. With the Master Chief putting on the Armor of Humanity and ready to face the most vicious and ruthless enemies ever in a battle to save the universe. There is definitely much more to be discovered about the Halo Infinite game when it is finally launched later in the year. And hopefully, the storyline will be more adventurous and impressive with Master Chief and the Banished in the spotlight.
